All For Kitesurfing Fans And Practitioners

Hey, it doesn't matter how good a product is made quality wise, sometimes you just need a new one. The same goes with kite surfing kites. Or maybe yours isn't running ragged, maybe you just want to try out a new brand or type. Well to be honest, you can find these online or offline, but in my experience the best place to look for anything - is online. Not only can you find the exact type, brand, color and size you want, but you can also find it at a price that can't be beat.

And if you really NEED another reason to shop online? Convenience. All you do is find a site that is having a kite sale or a place where you can buy kites, find the one you want by doing a category search or using the search box on the site, pick the product, add it to your cart, pay for it and voila it will be shipped right to your door! Now I know what your thinking; don't I have to pay for shipping and handling? What's the point of shopping online if I have to pay extra for S&H?!? And ya know what, your right! Why should you have to pay extra.

But if you are sly you can find sites online that will give you specials like free shipping and handling. Yep. Free! of course you have to spend a certain amount of money, but I think that's pretty darn fair! One site I found online had a TON of products, at fantastic prices and you could get free S&H on orders over $75! That's a sweet deal, especially for an awesome new kite! Let's take a look at some of these specialized products!

4 Line Traction Beamer 4 (IV): The all new 2009 Beamer 4 (IV) is the perfect kite for anyone getting into the sport and looking for an all-round kite they can use for traction kiting with a buggy or training. The 4th generation of the HQ Beamer now comes with even more power and performance complete with characteristics you would expect from an all-rounder kite! Its stability makes it very user-friendly and will speed up your learning curve when starting out in activities such as buggying, landboarding or snow kiting. Its power is very smooth and predictable allowing for fast and safe progression.

HQ Hydra H2O Relaunch!: This is the first and only water relaunchable trainer kite. This is truly amazing. I watched the video on it and I was sitting there dumbfounded the whole time. It's a pretty piece of equipment and it doesn't cost a lot either especially for what it does. HQ Power kites introduces the Hydra, the world's first and only water relaunchable trainer foil. Extremely stable and easy to fly, this closed cell ram-air foil has no bladders to inflate or replace, yet it floats on water. A third line provides the safety system and the ability to reverse launch, making it perfect for use with absolute beginners. The Hydra flies great in low winds and generates plenty of pull for bodydrags when the wind is strong.

How to Kite DVD: Chris Moore has been professionally involved in Kiting since 1991. His passion for kiting has placed him at the top of his profession as an athlete, retailer, and instructor. This video is a cumulative result of his years of teaching kiteboarding to thousands of students. His instructional techniques have become the foundation to create the Professional Air Sports Association (PASA) Kiteboarding Division. Today, PASA, and Chris' instructional exercises defines certification for the kiteboarding industry at the sport participant level and the instructor level.

2 Line Trainer Rush 3 (III): Looking for a quality inexpensive trainer kite to learn how to kitesurf quickly? Then, the all new 2009 HQ Rush (III) 3 is your answer. The Rush III Trainer is a perfect two line trainer kite for simplicity and budget minded individuals. With its simple construction bridle construction and low aspect ratio, the HQ Rush III is an easy kite to control and comes complete and ready to fly! This is a perfect training kite if you are just starting out in this sport. Plus, it's a budget kite that is very user-friendly and easy to control.

I liked this site in particular because they had a video on each page with viewings for what each product looks like in action, how it works, how to control it, etc. They also had a couple of other videos as well for their own specialized review on that product. For instance, they did a review on the 2009 Griffin Kites LEI. They included a description of the product, what this type of product is good for, or who this product is good for; beginner, intermediate, advanced, wakestyle, waves and free style. Then, there was a test review video of the product. It's just a cool extra to help you save your time on a potential good/bad product. In this case, - an awesome product!
